CW Announces 2017-18 Fall Schedule



The CW Network has released next season's fall schedule. Next season will include four new shows, two of which will debut in the fall.  Take a look at the schedule!

The CW has found its 'Black Lightning"!

A familiar face to CW fans will be donning the Black Lightning super suit!  Cress William of Heart of Dixie will return to The CW to star in DC Comic's "Black Lightning"! 

Black Lightning centers on Jefferson Pierce (Williams).  He made his choice to hang up his suit and secret identity years ago, but with a daughter hellbent on justice and a star student being recuited by a local gang, he'll be pulled back into the fight as the wanted vigilante Black Lightning.

Nina Dobrev returns to Vampire Diaries series finale!


Nina Dobrev confirmed that she would be returning for the series finale of The Vampire Diaries.  She announced it on her instagram account by posting a photo of the series finale script. You can catch the series finale of The Vampire Diaries on Friday March 10 at 7pm on The Arkansas CW!

Gina Rodriguez & Rachel Bloom Are Golden Again!


Congratulations to Gina Rodriguez of Jane the Virgin and Rachel Bloom of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend . Both ladies for a second year in a row have snagged a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical. Rachel Bloom won the same award last year and Gina Rodriguez also won it in 2015.  Cross you finger in hopes that one of these leading ladies becomes a two-time winner!

CW Mid-season Schedule



The Cw network has released the schedule for mid-season.  Here is the info you need to get ready for the changes.

DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW will move to Tuesdays at 8p starting January 24.

SUPERNATURAL will move to Thursdays at 7p starting January 26.

RIVERDALE will premiere on Thursday, January 26 at 8p

THE 100 will premiere on Wednesday, February 1 at 8p.

REIGN will premiere on Friday, February 10 at 8p.

THE ORIGINALS will premiere on Friday, March 17 at 7p.

IZOMBIE will premiere with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, April 4 at 7p & 8p.



Also a few shows on the schedule will finale in Mid-season.  Here is a list of the shows that will finale:

NO TOMORROW - Tuesday, January 17 at 8p

FREQUENCY - Wednesday, January 25 at 8p 

CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND - Friday, February 3 at 8p

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES - Friday, March 10 at 7p (Series Finale)

"No Tomorrow" is about Evie Callahan, a risk-averse quality-control assessor, who appreciates order. Then she meets charming, free-spirited Xavier Holliday, and the attraction is immediate and electric. Xavier encourages Evie to carpe that diem, because he believes humankind has a mere eight months and twelve days until a runaway asteroid smacks us all into stardust. Evie must decide whether Xavier is certifiable and whether that even matters, if being with him means living her life more fully.

CW Fall Starts Today!



Primetime programming returns this week with returning heroes and some fresh faces! Don't miss the start of the fall season on The Arkansas CW!  




Starting tonight The Flash returns at 7pm followed by the series premiere of  No Tomorrow at 8pm.


Then on Wednesday Arrow returns for it's fifth season at 7pm followed by the series premiere of Frequency at 8pm.

The Arkansas CW to Air Flood Relief Benefit Concert


The Arkansas CW will air a 2-hour live event on Labor day starting at 7pm. 

Louisiana Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Relief hosted by Harry Connick Jr and Randy Jackson. This benefit concert will include a dozen of well-known artists, including Better Than Ezra, Sonny Landreth, Chris Thomas King, MacKenzie Bourg, Luther Kent and Rockin' Dopsie.

Monday's episodes of Supergirl will air on Saturday, Sept. 10 starting at 7pm

MADtv Returns on The CW



MADtv will makes it's return to television Tuesday at 8pm on The Arkansas CW.  The series will star eight new comedic performers and former cast member of the original show will appear as special guest stars in each episode reprising some of MADtv's most popular characters.

The new cast includes:

Carlie Craig is an actress, comic, singer, improviser and impressionist whose impressive credits include producer/performer on “Todrick,” the MTV docu-series from YouTube star Todrick Hall, as well as USA Network’s “First Impressions with Dana Carvey,” where she went viral with her video “Celebrity Impressions by Carlie Craig.”





Chelsea Davison is a sketch comedy writer and performer based in Los Angeles, known for her work on MTV, UCB and YouTube. She is currently a writer on the hit Comedy Central show @Midnight and was named a “New Face” at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. She also co-starred with Amy Poehler in “These Girls.”




Jeremy D. Howard is known for his larger-than-life characters and impeccable comedic timing. A master of improvisation, he has been in several independent films and played the lead in the movie “Hollywood Street.” In 2016, he participated in the CBS Diversity Showcase. This athlete and former choir director has a 3- octave range and has been a principal actor in numerous commercials.




Amir K is well known for his stand-up comedy appearances around the world. Born Amir Kamyab, he is an Iranian-American performer whose work is a combination of storytelling, character work and improvisation shaped by an uncanny range of accents and dialects. He has appeared on “Last Comic Standing” and “Jerks with Cameras.” He has also had roles in the Academy Award-winning film “Argo” and recently starred in the film “The Pyramid.”




Lyric Lewis is a member of The Groundlings Main Company and was featured in the 2015 New Faces: Characters showcase at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. She was a cast member in the 2015 CBS Diversity Showcase. Her past acting credits include “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Drunk History.” She will be lending her voice in the upcoming animated series “SuperMansion” with Bryan Cranston.




Piotr Michael is a versatile impressionist, improviser and actor. He’s a regular contributor to “The Howard Stern Show,” known for his impersonations of celebrities such as Simon Cowell, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Charlie Sheen and Donald Trump. He’s a popular voiceover artist whose credits include Disney’s “Wander Over Yonder,” “Conan” and “Real Time with Bill Maher,” as well as video games “Final Fantasy,” “Call of Duty” and “Warcraft.” His podcast, “The Mixed Nut Show,” features his impressions and characters.



Michelle Ortiz is known for her brazen and bold humor. She studied at the prestigious Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia and trained as a classical opera singer in Germany. Ortiz participated in the 2014 ABC Diversity Showcase and the 2016 CBS Diversity Showcase. Her television credits include “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,” “Life in Pieces,” and “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn.” 






Adam Ray is a comedian/actor best known for his roles in “The Heat” and “Spy,” both starring Melissa McCarthy and directed by Paul Feig. He is also featured in the upcoming reboot of “Ghostbusters” as the voice of the iconic character “Slimer.” He currently co-hosts the new TBS comedy game show “Separation Anxiety,” as well as the popular podcast “About Last Night,” which has featured guests including Melissa McCarthy, Bob Saget and Whitney Cummings. His comedy sketches have garnered over 30 million views on YouTube and Funny or Die

CW Primetime Schedule Revealed for 2016/2017 Season


The Cw Network released the primetime schedule for the fall season and there are a lot of interesting changes for next season.

Three new shows have been add to next fall's lineup. Supergirl lands on Mondays at 7pm, No Tomorrow will air on Tuesdays at 8pm and Frequency will hit the airwaves Wednesdays at 8pm. With the addition of these new shows some of you favorite shows have moved days, Supernatural moves to Thursdays at 8pm and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend moves to Friday at 8pm.

Mid-season will see the return of fan favorites iZombie, The Orignals, Reign and The 100.  Plus, the new series Riverdale will premiere in mid-season.

Jane The Virgin Star Andrea Navedo attends Bentonville Film Festival.



We ran into one of our favorite stars from CW Network hit series "Jane The Virgin" Andrea Navedo right here at the Bentonville Film Festival. She was a part of the Geena and Friends Panel and will be speaking at another panel later today Women who launch TV shows.  Dustin had a chance to catch up to her, check out what she had to say about her visit to Arkansas and the Bentonville Film Festival.

The CW Renews 11 Shows!



Good news for all you CW fans, all your favorite characters are coming back for another season. The CW network has announced that it is renewing 11 shows for next season.
